Classes with Dr. RJ

Requirements to join the class:

Arrive at least 10 minutes early.

Moderators will check-in students before the start of the class. This process will take 10- 20 minutes, depending on the number of participants. It will allow your child to share the necessary information to join the class by arriving early.

Do not be late.

The class will be locked ten minutes after the start of the classroom. For example, if you are attending Dr. RJ’s Sunday class and the time zone is Central Standard Time, the class will be locked at 2:40 CST. This means that your child will not be able to join for any reason after 2:40 CST.We recommend that your child check their internet connection. If they were to leave the classroom due to a lost connection, they would not be able to return.

Your child must share your email address.

During the check-in process, your child will be asked to type your email address in the chatbox (The chatbox will be private. Only the moderators will see the email addresses). This is a requirement to participate in the class. If your child shares an incorrect email address, they may be removed from the class. If necessary, please assist your child with joining the class.

Please encourage your child to turn on their camera.

Your child will get one opportunity to turn on their camera. During the check-in process, Dr. RJ will allow students to turn on their cameras (keep in mind that if your child chooses to turn on their video, they must show their face). We recommend that your child take advantage of this opportunity. Dr. RJ focuses his interaction on the students who have their cameras on.

If your child is uncomfortable turning on their camera, do not be discouraged. It may take them several weeks in the program before they are comfortable. Please do not attempt to pressure or force them to do it. After the check-in process has concluded, students who chose not to turn on their cameras will be unable to turn them on later. This feature will be disabled for the remainder of the class.

Discuss classroom etiquette with your child

Like any classroom or meeting, we will not tolerate any inappropriate behavior. If a moderator removes your child due to their behavior, they will not be allowed to attend another class. They may continue to participate in the program by completing the video training modules and attending 1:1 sessions with their accountability coaches. Still, they will not be allowed to attend any classes.
